London: searching a job

As I told some posts before, after spending one week in Bristol I went to London, at first only for two days, to leave some CV’s in the capital. The first I delivered 70 CV’s. I got off in Marble Arch and I entered in all the stores in Oxford and Regent’s street. I didn’t stop until 8, when the stores close. I didn’t even have lunch. In fact, I wasn’t even hungry. It was hard, relatively, as I don’t remember it with bad feelings; I remember being very motivated and very… alive!

Como conté en anteriores posts, después de pasar una semana en Bristol fui a Londres, en principio sólo por dos días, para dejar algunos currículums en la capital. El primer día repartí 70 currículums. Me bajé en Marble Arch y entré en todas las tiendas en Oxford y Regent’s Street. No paré hasta las 8, cuando las tiendas cerraron. Ni siquiera comí. De hecho, ni siquiera tenía hambre. Fue duro, relativamente, ya que no lo recuerdo mal; recuerdo estar muy motivada y sentirme muy… ¡viva!

London – searching a place to live

Last time I wrote I told that I was going to London. And that’s what I did. I just went for two days to leave some CV’s (because, actually, I was living in Bristol with a friend), and as soon as I put a foot in Trafalgar Square I decided that I will stay there. Yes, I was absolutely in LOVE with the city. I experienced a love a first sight three years before, when I studied there for 1 month and the flame was still on. Sounds twee, but that’s exactly how I felt.

La última vez que escribí contaba que me iba a Londres. Y eso fue exactamente lo que hice. Fui por dos días a dejas algunos currículums (ya que, en realidad, estaba viviendo en Bristol con una amiga), y tan pronto como puse un pie en Trafalgar Square decidí que me quedaría allí.  Sí, estaba absolutamente enamorada de la ciudad. Viví un amor a primera vista tres años antes, cuando estudié allí durante un mes y la llama aún seguía viva. Suena cursi, pero es exactamente como me sentía.
